Portmarnock AFC was founded in 1979 and was known as Portmarnock Soccer Club at the time. The club established its’ first senior team in 1982. In season 2014/2015, the club fielded 15 teams in the SSG (Small Sided Games) leagues and 9 teams in the full eleven-a-side leagues, in both DDSL and NDSL leagues. We also fielded  5 Senior teams, in the Leinster Senior League and UCFL.

Our Facilities

Portmarnock AFC are situated in picturesque Paddy’s Hill at the top of Portmarnock overlooking the sea. These private facilities were opened in May 2002 and include two full size soccer pitches and a modern floodlit all weather training surface and an additional floodlit astro-turf “Skillz” area.  We also have the use of the Fingal County Council pitches at Robswall and Carrickhill to cater for our ever increasing playing membership (470 plus members last season)

Our Nippers

We have a thriving Nippers Academy section on Saturday mornings with over 85 kids in the 4-7 age bracket registered for season. These kids are attended to by a coaching group of between 8 and 12 coaches on any givenSaturday.  The future looks promising with lots of young talent coming through.

Join us for our RACE NIGHT on 7th March in the Sports & Leisure Club
